🧠 Why Negative Thoughts Affect Your Body and Energy

Negative thoughts can often play on a loop in our mind. This can lead to heavy feelings and emotions which in turn, can lead to heaviness in the body. This can cause dis-ease which is a disconnection from ease and when this happens regularly it can bring about physical aches and pain in the body.

When we think negative thoughts about ourselves, other people, situations and our life, we are only hurting ourselves. This mindset shift technique as explained in the video, is extremely simple and yet very effective. When used as a daily mindset practice, it has the ability to teach your brain how to stop negative thinking. When you can change your thoughts, you can change everything!

💬 The Simple Word That Helped Shift My Depression

When I was going through my depression phase in life, negative thoughts would run rampant - until I found this easy mind shift technique. I used the word 'cancel' in every moment that I had a negative thought and I can tell you, there were LOTS of them. Walking from the house out to the car, I'd sometimes have 20 negative thoughts. TWENTY! And it's not even a one minute walk. So as you can imagine, I was saying 'cancel' hundreds of times a day. 

🎯 How to Use This Technique Effectively

Words are energy. Sound is also energy so if you're going to use this mindset technique, don't just think 'cancel', actually SAY the word. It doesn't have to be heard by everyone around you. Just say it to yourself. You know what you're doing, it's fine. You're consciously working with your energy in a purposeful and powerful way with one simple word - repeated numerous times through the day.

🔄 Why It Works: Sound, Energy, and Neural Rewiring

This is rewiring your neural pathways in the brain. When you say 'cancel' or delete or erase, you're actually retraining your brains way of thinking. Don't get angry when you use your chosen word because another negative thought has entered. Just softly say 'delete' to yourself so your brain will begin to learn that you don't think like that anymore. After all, the calmer you are, the calmer you are!

🌱 What to Expect After a Week of Using This Tool

When you do this repeatedly every day for 1 - 2 weeks, you WILL see change. It could even begin to get a little scary because your mind, after thinking negative thoughts on a loop for so long, could actually begin to become quiet. And in the quiet, there is space. So much space.

🤫 A Quiet Mind Creates Space for Healing

When I first started encountering this space in my mind, it felt very foreign. My mind was changing. My thoughts were lessening. That negative loop was slowly disappearing. Over time, I learned to fill my mind with positive thinking which lead to positive actions and ultimately, a more positive life experience. I was changing the energetics of my life.

🪄 One Word That Can Change Everything

For now, just start with your one word. Make it your daily mindset practice. Repetition is key. Mine was 'cancel'. That was my beginning of changing absolutely everything!
